Stopping Overdevelopment

As a 4th-generation Hillsborough County native, Bea has seen firsthand how drastically our county has changed. It has become unrecognizable with rapid and unchecked growth and we cannot keep up. Some candidates in this race only know Hillsborough over the last 10 years, because they just moved here. Bea remembers growing up and smelling orange blossoms while driving down the road. That was her childhood. Our rural and ag lands are not for international buy-outs. And they aren't for greedy land developers who are pushing out local Hillsborough families. Bea supports a ban on private equity companies buying up rural land and developing cookie-cutter homes 6 feet apart from one another.

Promoting Florida Agriculture

Florida Farmers are the backbone of our state economy. Farmers don't just wake up one day and decide they are going to be farmers. These are 3, 4, and 5th generation Florida families; they are old Florida; they represent our heritage in Florida.

Strawberry Festival and strawberry shortcakes?

Between the hurricanes, droughts, labor shortages, rising costs, and the catastrophic freezes, our farmers need support.

Food security is national security. Bea believes if we don’t defend our food source, we’ll be dependent on adversarial nations like China to feed us, who would gladly see us starve. On the campaign trail, Bea has been vocal about her desire to work on the House Agriculture Committee when elected.

Defending Law & Order

Safety in FL-14 is the foundation of building a better tomorrow. Bea will always Back the Blue and oppose all efforts from radical Democrats who push to defund our law enforcement. As a 4th-generation Hillsborough County native, Bea can't remember a time in the Tampa Bay area when there were "teen takeovers". Lawlessness is a symptom of Democrat leaders refusing to support our police as they risk their lives every single day to keep us safe. Bea will ALWAYS support law enforcement and their families.

Standing with Our Troops and Veterans

Bea comes from a long line of military service and is the only candidate in the race who is still currently serving our country as a U.S. Navy Reservist. Bea knows firsthand that our veterans and their families deserve more than we could ever provide. Bea believes we must honor the commitment we have made to our nation’s veterans and ensure protection of the benefits they have earned including healthcare, housing, and retirement. On the campaign trail, Bea has heard about the housing challenges at MacDill AFB and has committed to providing funding to address these concerns. She has also committed to supporting the Major Richard Star Act, research and funding for PACT Act and burn pits.

Securing the Border

Bea believes a nation without a border is no nation at all. Since President Trump took office nearly two years ago, there have been ZERO releases at the border. Bea supports the Freedom Hauler initiative, a program that will allow military veterans to get expedited commercial drivers licenses for trucking careers. The nation faces a shortage of truckers after licenses were stripped from immigrants who failed English language tests. On the campaign trail, Bea has met with Angel families who have lost loved ones because of illegals who should have never been in our country to begin with. Bea will NEVER vote for amnesty.

Accountability

As a former Congressional staffer, Bea has witnessed how vast the swamp truly is. Greedy politicians, back-room deals done in the dark, and insider trading all at the expense of the American people. Accountability in Washington is a foreign concept. She has no stomach for it, it’s time to hold ALL public servants accountable for their actions. Bea supports audits on members of Congress to ensure they are not benefiting off the policies they are trying to push.

Defending Constitutional Rights

The rights to free speech, life, liberty, and happiness were bestowed upon us by our Founding Fathers. We have continued to see the Left try and strip that from us. Bea is a patriot and an America-First fighter who will always defend our American way of life and the ideals we all hold dear. Bea believes elected officials should love our country, not hate it. Bea has proudly earned the highest rating given to a non-incumbent candidate from the NRA, she will always stand against the Left's gun-grabs.
